摘要
九十年代的信息技术,已经渗透到我们生活的各个领域。以教育而言,人们已逐渐由被动为主动地认识并接受远距离学习,这种趋势正方兴未艾。而即将到来的多媒体时代,无疑更是远距离教育的黄金时代,它将使远距离教育如虎添翼,更具魅力。
As a magnificent educational revolution in China, distance education has always faced the lack of theoretical direction, In most cases, it is just promoted by some enthusiasm and led by some intuition. The fact that we have fallen into dire straits in running schools for several times in recent years can be an evidence. Major problems are: a) Research institutions are not taken seriously . They are just an ornament of administration leaders, having no chance to participate in management; b) Irrational construction of researchers makes it difficult to create the effect of exerting every researcher's superiority and working in coordination; c) There is a flood of superficiality and vulgarization in research activities, and summarizing or experiential articles can be seen everywhere; d) The life of 'research' ends as soon as benefits are gained; e) Low scientific level: planning is not based on adequate scientific demons- tration, but on subjectivism; f) Backward research means and obstruction of information. The causes of each problem may involve many aspects , but one common reason is the lack of theo-retical direction. In this sense, only with the care and attention of leaders, decision-makers and practicers as a whole can distance education researchers try in the following aspects: a) Establish a systematic idea of distance education research; b) Attach much importance to characteristic research of distance education; c) Lay stress on actual effects, hence to make the operations of distance education easier. Of course, in addition to these, the construction of research force, guarantee of scientific research funds, perfection of research system, provision of information and data, strengthening of international exchange are all indispensable elements for the healthy development of research.
