It is believed by some people that the word“Capitalism”has never been used by K.Marx,neither has it been clearly defined anywhere.The author argues that Marx regards “capitalism” as an economic formation of society in the course of history,and he holds that “capitalistic mode of production” is a token of the economic formation of the society.So his theory of “capitalistic mode of production” is his definition of “capitalism”.The kernel of this definition is his opinion on “capital”,that is, capital does not refer to matter but to relationship,and the only relationships of production.Thus,even if Marx has not used the word“capitalism”,it does not mean that he has not made any clear definition of it.
