摘要
高职院校英语专业学生普遍存在人文知识普遍缺乏、道德修养较差,价值取向不明确、心理素质低下,社交能力较弱等现象,这有悖于英语专业的人文科学本位。我国高职英语专业应该回归人文学科本位,应致力于培养人文通识型英语人才。鉴于此,高职院校应科学地设置英语专业课程和改善师资以有效地培养学生合理的知识结构。在教学方式上锐意改革,让课程贴近学生,在教学过程中给予学生充分的人文关怀,在授课所涉及的各项因素中积极寻求改进方案,切实使英语专业教育起到推进学生人文素质、文化素质、跨文化能力的培养的积极作用。
English majors in higher vocational colleges exist generally the phenomena of lacking of humanities knowledge,poor moral cultivation,undefined value orientation,low psychological quality and weak social ability,which goes against the standard of English professional humanities.The higher vocational English major in China should return to humanities standard,making efforts to cultivate humanistic general type English talents.In view of this,higher vocational colleges should establish professional courses scientifically and improve English teachers’ level to effectively train reasonable knowledge structure of students.They should be keen on the reform of teaching methods,let the courses appropriate to students,give students full human care in the course of teaching,actively seek improvement plan in the various factors involving teaching to make English professional education play a positive role in promoting students’ quality of humanity,cultural quality and cross-cultural ability training.
