Since the beginning of this decade, Turkey has witnessed obvious changes in its foreign strategies. First,it strives to establish a Turkey-America relati-onship,which is taken as the base on which to keep and promote the relation-ship of Turkey-West Europe alliance, and achieve tne purpose of promotingTurkey's qualification of EEC membership; Secondly, it stresses the friend-ly relations with its neighbour countries so as to create a stable and peacefulinternational environment for its own development; Lastly, it tries to returnto the scene of the Middle East as a regional power, with the strengtheningof itself and expanding of its influence as the essential aim of the externalstrategy.
