摘要
科技英语中的定语从句是各种从句中最复杂的一种从句，其翻译方法仁者仁见，智者见智。本文以现代翻译理论为基础，密切结合英语和汉语句法的特点，集中讨论了定语从句的非定语化译法（即译成汉语的各种非定语成分）。翻译实践表明，这种译法对提高译文质量具有非常重要的意义，应该引起实事翻译者的重视。
Of all clauses in EST, the attributive clause is the most complicated and its translation methods are many and varied. Based on modern translation theory and combined closely with the features of English/Chinese sentence structure, this paper focused our discussion on nonattributive translation methods(i.e,translation of English attribute into Chinese nonattributive elements) for attributive clauses. The concrete practice of Sci tech translation shows that this translation method is of great significance to the quality of a translated text, to which young translators should attach great importance.
