摘要
老化生物学是研究老龄问题的重要基础科学。衰老原因及衰老机理的探索必须在整体水平、器官、组织和细胞水平上进行不同层次的宏观和微观研究才能不断深入。此外,老化生物学为老年医学的临床应用、为老年心理学各种理论和实践建立可靠的理论基础,也为老年社会学的许多决策提供科学依据。因此,老化生物学是认识和研究老龄问题的基石。
Biology of ageing is an important discipline for studying the elderly issues. Causes and mechanisms of ageing could be clearly understood only through macro and micro research at the integral,organ,tissue,and cell level. In addition,biology of ageing may lay theoretical foundation for clinical practice in the medical science of the elderly and for various practices in psychology of the elderly, and may also provide scientific basis for policy making in the perspective of gerontological sociolgy.
