本文通过对《当我知道一种语言时我知道什么?》一文的详细解读,阐释了达米尔的隐性知识意义理论:语言知识是隐性的、默会的,隐性知识指导言语实践,言语实践只是部分地体现了这一隐性知识。文章分为三部分:第一部分总结了文章的核心思想和主要观点;第二部分集中讨论了知道、掌握一种语言中的‘知道’意味着什么和语言何以成为语言这两个问题;最后总结了达米尔提出的语言意义理论正确与否的唯一决定性标准。
