Structure and Properties of PVC/OMMT Nanocomposites

摘要 采用锥形双螺杆挤出机直接熔融插层制备了聚氯乙烯/有机蒙脱土(PVC/OMMT)纳米复合材料,通过X射线衍射(XRD),透射电子显微镜(TEM),热重分析仪(TG)研究了OMMT在PVC基体中的分散状态以及对PVC/OMMT纳米复合材料力学与热性能的影响.结果表明:OMMT在PVC基体中多数以剥离形态存在,适量的OMMT不仅有利于复合材料强度与韧性的提高,而且可以提高材料的模量,在OMMT含量为6份时体系具有最佳综合力学性能.OMMT有利于降低PVC/OMMT纳米复合材料的粘度,但会使PVC的热分解温度降低. Melting intercalation method was successfully introduced in preparing PVC/OMMT nanocomposites.The dispersion state of organically modified montmorillonite(OMMT) and its mechanical and thermal properties in the PVC/OMMT nanocomposite system were studied with X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The results show that OMMT,stripping in the PVC matrix,can not only enhance the strength and toughness,but also improve the modulus in the appropriate amount of OMMT,nanocomposites have the best mechanics properties with 6 phr OMMT.OMMT can be in favor of the reduction of viscosity,but it will reduce the thermal decomposition temperature of PVC.
