《黛西蕾的婴孩》是美国作家凯特.肖邦具有代表性的短篇小说之一。本文从叙述方式、语言描写及反讽的运用等方面探讨了该作品的文体学特征,并认为这些文体学特征对构成小说人物性格及表现作品的主题有着至关重要的作用。
Désirée's Baby is one of the American writer Kate Chopin's representative short stories.This paper analyses the story in stylistic aspects,including narrative style,linguistic description and the usage of irony,and considers these stylistic features as crucial factors in shaping characters' personality and embodying the story's theme.
