摘要
马丁在系统功能语言学范式下展开的语篇语义研究举世瞩目。本文从马丁1977-2008年间发表的论文中精选14篇进行综述,讨论马丁对语篇语义研究的贡献。所选论文主要关涉马丁的指称理论、联接理论、主位理论、语篇格律理论和评价理论等。我们认为,马丁在语篇语义研究方面的贡献,尤其是在大语篇意义系统研究方面的贡献,大大推动了系统功能语言学领域向纵深发展。
James R.Martin’s achievements in discourse semantics have won considerable attention.In this paper,we select 14 seminal discourse semantics papers published from 1977 through 2008.These papers mainly concern reference,conjunction,theme and periodicity,and appraisal systems.We review the papers and sum up his main contributions to discourse semantics,concluding that Martin’s contribution to the discipline is unparalleled in the SFL world,especially his achievements in the study of systems of meaning beyond t...
