摘要
18 5 5年黄河自铜瓦厢决口后改道北流 ,这是黄河距今最近的一次大改道。改道之初 ,由于清政府正忙于镇压太平天国 ,无暇顾及河工 ,只得任黄水漫流。此后几十年间 ,清政府内部就黄河回归故道还是改道北流进行了长期的争论。
In 1855, the Yellow River burst its bank at Tongwaxiang and started to flow northward,which has been so far the greatest change.As the Qing government was then busy suppressing the Taiping Movement and had no time to take care of that,the water was flowing at its will.In the following decades,there was a dispute within the Qing government whether the Yellow River should restore or change its course.The dispute exercised important influence on the harnessing of the Yellow River and the modern society of Shandong.
