摘要
双关做为一种常用的修辞方法,具有丰富语言表达、强化语言效果的功能,在日常生活、语言交际、文学作品中被广泛运用。对汉英双关语的翻译需从语义和文化的角度进行对比分析,并运用恰当的翻译方法,才能使译文既尽可能保留原文的特色,又达意确切。
Pun, as a common rhetoric, can enrich language expressions, enforce the effect of language. In everyday life, it is widely used in communication and literature works. The comparative analyses should be done from semantics and culture in the translation of puns in both Chinese and English and appropriate method should be adopted to make the translation faithful to the origin.
