电力电子学从不被重视到脱颖而出,[1]发表于1973年,作者WilliamE.Newell博士,这篇讲演是电力电子发展史上的一个重要里程碑.不幸的是,这篇讲演发表三年后,Newell博士英年早逝.本文简要评述Newell博士的这篇论文,以纪念这位国际电力电子先驱者逝世30周年。
Power Electronics--Emerging from Limbo[1] was presented as a keynote talk at the IEEE PESC on June,1973 by Dr. William E. Newell. This paper is an important milestone in the history of power electronics. Unfortunately three years later Dr. Newell was untimely leaving the world.We now briefly introduce this talk in memory of the thirtyth anniversary of his death.
