摘要
语言是一个开放系统,它随着社会发展而发展。语言又是社会变迁的晴雨表,作为不断发展变化着的语言各要素中,词汇又是最活跃、最敏感、最具代表性、最具开放性,同时也最具时代意义的要素。英语新词新语的不断涌现就充分显示了这一特点。本文拟就新词新语的翻译原则和方法作一探索以便对研究新词新语有所启发。
Language is an open system and develops with the progress of society.Vocabulary,the basic meaning unit,is the most active element in the process of language changes,which reflects the changes of the society.The appearance of new words is the result of social development and new things.This paper mainly explores the principles and methods of translating English neologism so that it can be helpful to the research on English neologism.
