摘要
从文化视点来说,翻译是跨文化的沟通,确切的说是把一种语言文字的意义用另一种语言文字表达出来。动物词有着丰富的文化内涵及不同的翻译方法,是文化翻译理论要研究的重要对象之一。本文试图通过英汉两种语言在词汇层面上的文化差异对比,探讨英汉动物词汇的文化内涵差异及其翻译。
In terms of cultural perspective,translation,as a form of cross-culture communication,is to convey the meaning of one language to another.Animal words,despite the richness in cultural connotation and their various ways in translation,have long been the focus of the research on the theory of culture translation.This paper attempts to explore the cultural differentiations and their translation by means of contrasting the cultural differences of English and Chinese language at the lexical level.
