Music education plays a special role in cultivating and improving the comprehensive qualities of students. The over-all development of the reform of basic courses represents the essential spirit of quality education, and provides a good chance and a vast space for promoting the development of music education. Music education will be marked by some kinds of changes and characteristics in the new century.
