摘要
对于莎士比亚的悲剧《科里奥兰纳斯》中主人公卡厄斯·马歇斯的悲剧命运成因,从不同的视角可以做出不同的解释。从心理学角度看,性格缺陷是造成人物悲剧的根本原因。我们运用古斯塔夫·勒庞的大众心理学理论对《科里奥兰纳斯》剧情进行分析,指出卡厄斯·马歇斯的悲剧成因主要有两个,其一是群众的性格缺陷,其二是马歇斯个人的性格缺陷。
The causes of the tragic fate of Caius Martius,the protagonist in Shakespeare’s tragedy Coriolanus,can be explained from different perspectives.From the psychological point of view,personality defects are the root cause of character tragedy.Based on Gustav Le Pen’s theory of mass psychology,the plot of Coriolanus was analyzed and the two main causes of Coriolanus’tragedy were pointed out,that,one is the character defect of the masses while the other is the character defect of the individual himself.
