五一广场东汉简牍中屡见与"例"相关的词语,用法较特殊。"例"字当读"■",本意指遮拦阻挡,简文中引申为检查的意思。本文依据简文所见设置例亭的因由及过程、例亭的具体功能等,阐述"例亭"乃检查岗的泛称,并非特指某个具体的治安亭。进而考证例所、例者、例吏、例船刺等的具体意义。
Characters and words related to li 例 appear repeatedly in the Eastern Han Dynasty manuscripts of Wuyi Square with special usage.The original meaning of li,which should be read as li■,is "block","obstruct",and its extended meaning in bamboo slip documents is "check".Based on the analysis of the reason,process,and concrete function of setting up liting 例亭 in bamboo slip documents,the present paper interprets liting as a general term of inspection post,rather than a particular reference to specifics.The paper further researches on the meaning of lisuo 例所,lizhe 例者and lichuanci 例船刺.
