摘要
全国抗战中期,为了联合苏美力量建立国际反法西斯统一战线并为今后建设新中国准备外语干部,中共及其领导的人民军队,需要在已有速成模式外语培训的基础上开展正规化外语专业教育,以培养更多高水平的军政翻译人才。由此成立的中央军委延安外国语学校,是人民军队创办的第一所正规化外语专业学校,在中共当时的外语训练组织中规模最大,学制最长,且兼有俄、英两个培训语种。该校逐步构建起包括办学方针、组织管理、师资队伍、教学内容、教材编写、教学方法、办学条件等要素的较为规范的外语教学体系,为人民军队外语教育开辟了正规化办学途径,为新中国的各个建设领域和人民军队培养了一批专业人才,对新中国外语教育事业的发展起到了重要奠基作用。
During the middle period of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,in order to ally with the USSR and US to build an international anti⁃fascist united front and to prepare cadres with foreign language com⁃petence for the construction of new China,the Communist Party of China and the CPC⁃led armed forces began to have nor⁃malized foreign language education on the basis of the existing crash foreign language training mode,starting to cultivate more high⁃level military and political talents in translation and interpretation.Yan'an Foreign Language School of the CPC Central Military Commission was soon founded.It was the first regular foreign language school for the People's Army.It had the largest size and longest academic schedule among the CPC foreign language training organizations of that time,with Russian and English as its training languages.The school gradually established a relatively standardized foreign language teaching system with essential ingredients such as guiding principles for school running,organization and management,teaching staff,teach⁃ing contents,textbook compilation,teaching methods and schooling conditions.It opened up a standardized way for PLA for⁃eign language education,and trained a number of professional talents for new China's various construction fields and for the PLA.It also played an important role in laying the foundation for the development of foreign language education of the PRC.
