摘要
乌鲁木齐4号井自1977年4月开始观测以来在观测点200公里范围内共发生4—6级地震二十次,其中大于5级的地震五次。在这些中强地震发生前,4号井的地下水位显示出不同程度的短期异常变化。实践证明该井是乌鲁木齐地区地下水反映地震的敏感点之一。
Since monitoring the variations of ground water levels of well No 4 in Urumqi in April 1977,20 earthquakes have occurred within a radius of 200km.Among them are 5 earthquakes with magnitude 5.0 and greater.Before these moderate-strong earthquakes,short-term anomalous variations of ground water level of the well appeared in varying degrees.It has been proved that the well is probably one of the sensitive sites in observing ground water precursors associated with earthquakes.
