摘要
受二元经济结构的影响,我国城乡居民收入差距明显,已成为制约经济社会高质量发展的重要原因。作为现代经济的核心,近年来金融业得到快速发展,既为城乡居民提高收入水平、改善生活品质创造了更多机会,也对居民的投融资行为构成了差异化影响。文章以我国31个省市区的实际数据为研究样本,运用VAR模型分析金融机构发展规模和效率对城乡收入差距的影响,发现在短期内,金融机构发展规模和效率的增长会引起城乡居民收入差距的扩大,而城乡居民收入差距扩大又会导致金融机构发展效率的提升;长期来看,金融机构发展规模和效率对城乡收入差距不构成显著影响,城乡收入差距主要受自身因素的影响。
Influenced by China’s dual economic structure,the income gap between urban and rural residents is obvious,which has become an important reason to restrict the high-quality development of economic society.As the core of modern economy,the financial industry has developed rapidly in recent years,which not only creates more opportunities for urban and rural residents to improve their income and quality of life,but also has differential impacts on Residents’investment and financing acts.Based on the actual data of 31 provinces in China,this paper uses VAR model to analyze the impact of the development scale and efficiency of financial institutions on the income gap between urban and rural residents.It is found that in the short term,the growth of the development scale and efficiency of financial institutions will lead to the expansion of the income gap between urban and rural residents,and the expansion of the income gap between urban and rural residents will lead to the improvement of the development efficiency of financial institutions.In the long run,the development scale and efficiency of financial institutions have no significant impact on the income gap between urban and rural residents,which is mainly affected by its own factors.
