摘要
太平洋环境史研究在20世纪90年代草创之际,便以充分汲取环境史研究经验和开展跨学科借鉴与合作为基础,寻求范式突破,确立起不同于传统环境史研究的视野、路径和方法。进入21世纪后,“太平洋世界”成为太平洋环境史研究的核心视野框架,并渐趋从“太平洋中的环境史”向“太平洋的环境史”转变。就研究主题而言,近代以来太平洋的环境变迁及其原因是最集中的部分,以生态入侵和资源攫取为典型的人类活动所带来的环境改变,尤其是近代资本扩张条件下的资源开发和掠夺,以及环境对人类形成的反作用关系,成为研究者的讨论重点。目前,太平洋环境史研究正呈现快速增长和深化的态势。
Since its inception in the 1990s,the study of Pacific environmental history has sought to make a paradigm breakthrough on the basis of drawing on the experience of environmental history research and interdisciplinary reference and cooperation,and has established a vision,path and methodology that are different from those of traditional environmental history research.After entering the 21st century,“the Pacific world”has become the core framework for the study of Pacific environmental history,and has gradually shifted from“environmental histories in the Pacific”to“environmental history of the Pacific”.As far as research themes are concerned,the environmental changes and their causes in the Pacific since modem times have been the most concentrated part,and the environmental changes brought about by human activities,typically ecological invasions and resource seizures,especially resource exploitation and plunder under the conditions of capital expansion in modem times,as well as the counteracting relationship between the environment and human beings,have become the focus of researchers’discussions.Currently,the study of Pacific environmental history is showing rapid growth and deepening.
