摘要
克孜尔石窟第224窟位于克孜尔石窟后山区,窟形为中心柱窟,主室为纵券顶,中心柱两侧各有一通甬道(图1),洞窟结构较为完整,存有前室、主室与后室。窟内壁画内容十分丰富,在其前室左右两壁存有龟兹供养人的画像以及一身坐佛,主室左右两侧壁各绘有八铺说法图,主室前壁上半方圆拱面绘有菩萨说法图,券顶中脊绘须摩提女请佛.
Cave 224 of the Kizil Grotto is one of the more complete caves in the back mountain area of the Kizil Grotto.The themes of the two walls of the main chamber of the cave are the themes of the Luyeyuan Chuzhuan Falun,the conversion of Sanjiaye,and the conversion of the King of Ajan,Buddha said four kinds of small cannot be light,Duan Mora female,Persian king ritual Buddha,Asura king holding children to the sea,and Maitreya enlightenment and so on.The content of the saying that Sakyamuni is king in Cave 224 is closely related to the expansion of the infuence of Buddhism in Qiuci by the Kuuci Sangha in the context of the belief and emphasis on Buddhism by the Kuuci kings and the Kucui royal family.The emergence of Duan Mora nuns is related to the tradition of Kucha women's emphasis on nuns.The narrative picture of Cave 224 also reflects the rituals of the Kizil Cave's central pillar cave.
