摘要
世界地质公园具有保护稀有地质遗迹的重要功能.中国的世界地质公园数量居全球第一,但其特征尚缺乏充分讨论.本文首次基于变迁、类型、分布3个维度,采用描述性统计方法系统地分析41家中国世界地质公园的特征.研究发现,世界地质公园经历了2004—2007年的快速增长期,以及2008年至今的平稳发展期.世界地质公园可归纳为4种地质大类,其中地貌景观大类数量最多.有21家世界地质公园属于集中型,23家跨越省级边界或位于省域交界处,许多世界地质公园同时获得其他保护区认证.世界地质公园有23家位于欠发达省域,31家位于中、西部地区,23家位于南方,25家位于第三阶梯,决定世界地质公园分布的主要因素是自然条件而非经济水平.研究结果为中国世界地质公园的实证研究和政策分析提供了基础依据.
Global geoparks play an important role on protecting rare geological relics.China owns the largest number of global geoparks in the world,but their characteristics have not been fully discussed.For the first time,based on three dimensions of change,type and distribution,this paper systematically analyzes the characteristics of 41 global geoparks in China employing the method of descriptive statistics.The results show that global geoparks have experienced the first period of rapid growth from 2004 to 2007 and the second period of steady development since 2008.These global geoparks can be classified into 4 geological categories,of which the number of geomorphic landscape category ranks first.21 global geoparks have spatially concentrated scenic spots,23 stretch over provincial boundaries or locate at provincial border,and many obtain other certifications of protection area at the same time.23 global geoparks locate in underdeveloped provinces,31 in the central and western regions,23 in the South,and 25 in the third ladder.The main factor which determines the distribution of global geoparks is natural condition rather than economic level.The research results provide a basis for empirical research and policy analysis of China global geoparks.
