摘要
"产出导向法"是具有中国特色的外语教学方法,能够解决中国学生在外语学习中的"学用分离"问题。该教学方法是否只适用于公立大学的大学外语教学?文章探讨了产出导向法在教学理念、教学假设和教学流程与民办高校英语专业的教育教学改革方向、学生特点和课程设置三个方面的一致性,得出了产出导向法能够在民办高校英语专业中应用的结论。
Production-Oriented Approach(POA)is a foreign language teaching approach with Chinese characteristics,which can solve the problem of the separation between foreign language input and output.The question is whether this approach is applied only to non-English majors in public universities.This paper tries to discuss the consistency of POA in teaching concept,teaching hypothesis and teaching process with the direction of English education and teaching reform,the characteristics of students in private universities,and the curriculum setting of English major in private universities.It is concluded that POA is a feasible approach also for English majors in private universities.
