随着全球化的发展和国际交流日益频繁,英语翻译教育的重要性愈发凸显。功能翻译理论作为一种翻译教学方法,强调翻译的实用性和功能性,对培养能运用英语翻译进行跨文化交流的人才具有重要的意义。文章将从功能翻译理论的基本概念、高校英语翻译教育的特点以及实践教学等方面进行探讨,旨在为提高高校英语翻译教育质量提供一定的参考。
With the development of globalization and the increase of international exchanges,the importance of English translation education is becoming increasingly prominent.Functional translation theory,as a translation teaching method,emphasizes the practicality and functionality of translation,which is of great significance for cultivating talents who can use English translation for cross-cultural communication.This paper will explore the basic concepts of functional translation theory,the characteristics of English translation education in universities,and practical teaching,aiming to provide some reference for improving the quality of English translation education in universities.
