摘要
NCSES、NCES是美国两家从事年度博士学位获得者统计调查的机构。两家机构统计的年度博士学位授予数量相差很大,需要加以澄清,以避免不加区别地引用引起的误区。采用比较研究的方法,对比分析NCSES、NCES在调查目的、调查对象、调查领域、调查时间、调查途径、历次数据统计口径变更等方面的不同,并对2000~2021年的统计数据进行比较,厘清两家统计机构数据的用途和使用范围。最后,对比了中美两国年度博士学位授予规模,提出了发展中国博士研究生教育的三点启示:一是加快发展博士专业学位研究生教育;二是开展医疗卫生行业第一职业博士学位试点;三是稳步发展博士学术学位研究生教育。
NCSES and NCES are two institutions in the United States that are engaged in the statistical survey of annual doctoral degree recipients.The annual statistical number of doctorates awarded collected by the two institutions is quite different,which needs to be clarified to prevent them from being quoted without distinction.Using the method of comparative study,this paper compares and analyzes the differences between NCSES and NCES in terms of survey purpose,survey object,survey field,survey time,survey approach,and changes in statistical caliber of previous data,and takes their statistical data from 2000 to 2021 to compare the results,so as to clarify the purpose and scope of use of the data of the two statistical institutions.Finally,it compares the scale of annual doctoral graduates in China and the United States,and puts forward three enlightenments for the development of doctoral education in China:the first is to accelerate the development of doctoral professional degree postgraduate education;the second is to carry out the first professional doctoral degree pilot in the medical and health industry,and the third is to steadily develop doctoral academic degree postgraduate education.
