This paper discusses the importance and dialectical relationship between autonomy and rules in young children’s play, analyzes the imbalance between the two in the process of play, and proposes a corresponding balancing strategy. By empowering young children to play openly, internalizing rules step by step, and promoting autonomy through flexible guidance, the paper aims to provide young children with both free and orderly high-quality play support and to promote their comprehensive and coordinated development.展开更多
