Vinyl-containingtitanium-silphenylene-sioxane oligomers(O1,O2,O3,andO4)withdifferent molar ratios of titanium to silicon were successfully synthesized in high yields by nonhydrolytic sol-gel reaction,and the obtained ...Vinyl-containingtitanium-silphenylene-sioxane oligomers(O1,O2,O3,andO4)withdifferent molar ratios of titanium to silicon were successfully synthesized in high yields by nonhydrolytic sol-gel reaction,and the obtained four oligomers were further crosslinked with methylphenyl hydro-silicone oil(4)to form corresponding polymers(P1,P2,P3,and P4)by hydrosilylation reaction.Their structures were characterized with spectroscopic characterization techniques including FTIR,1H-NMR,and Raman spectroscopy.The effect of titanium element on crosslinking behavior,thermal resistance,refractive index,transparency,thermal aging stability,glass transition temperature,and surface properties of the polymers were studied.Compared with titanium-free polymer P1,the thermal resistance,refractive index,and thermal aging stability of titanium-silphenylene-siloxane polymers(P2,P3,and P4)were significantly improved.The titanium-silphenylene-siloxane polymers achieved a high refractive index(n=1.580-1.584)and thermostability(Tsd>500℃).In thermal aging,the polymers exhibited superior performances with high optical transparency(~90%at 450 nm)and exhibited high thermal stability(~84%at 450 nm after thermal aging at 150℃for 120 h).These data indicate that the polymers have potential application in optical materials such as LED encapsulants.展开更多
AIM:To compare clinical outcomes and refractive stability of implantable collamer lens(ICL)implantation and femtosecond laser assisted laser in situ keratomileusis(FSLASIK)for high myopia correction.METHODS:The Optica...AIM:To compare clinical outcomes and refractive stability of implantable collamer lens(ICL)implantation and femtosecond laser assisted laser in situ keratomileusis(FSLASIK)for high myopia correction.METHODS:The Optical Quality Analysis System(OQAS)was used to evaluate clinical outcomes objectively after operation for high myopia correction.We compared the two procedures in terms of 1-year changes in uncorrected distance visual acuity(UDVA),corrected distance visual acuity(CDVA),safety index,efficacy index,spherical equivalent,modulation transfer function(MTF)cutoff frequency,strehl ratio(SR)and objective scatter index(OSI).RESULTS:At 1 y postoperatively,the safety indices were 1.33±0.27 in ICL group,and 1.17±0.24 in FS-LASIK group.39.58%in the ICL group and 27.59%in the FS-LASIK group gained CDVA in 2 lines or better than that in preoperative CDVA.The efficacy indices were 1.28±0.22 in ICL group,and 1.13±0.26 in FS-LASIK group.The changes of spherical equivalent from 1 wk to 1 y postoperatively was-0.12±0.37 D in ICL group,and-0.79±0.58 D in FS-LASIK group(P<0.05).Spherical equivalent within±0.50 D was achieved in 97.92%in ICL group and 68.97%in FS-LASIK group.MTF cutoff frequency were higher with ICL as compared to FSLASIK(P<0.05)at each postoperative follow-up stage;for postoperative 1 mo later,SR was statistically significant difference between two groups(P<0.05);with no statistically significant difference in OSI between two groups(P>0.05)in postoperative 3 mo later.CONCLUSION:ICL implantation and FS-LASIK procedures both provide good safety and predictability in high myopia correction.ICL implantation provides better clinical outcomes and refractive stability than FS-LASIK.展开更多

The optical properties of PPESK-8020, including refractive index, birefringence, thermo-optical coefficient and optical loss, are demonstrated. This kind of material has the advantages of low optical loss (less than 0.24 dB/cm at 1310 nm and 0.52 dB/cm at 1550 nm) and high thermal stability (1% weight loss temperature: 488 ℃). Asphaltene precipitation can cause serious problems in petroleum industry while diagnosing the asphaltene stability conditions in crude oil system is still a challenge and has been subject of many investigations.To mo...Asphaltene precipitation can cause serious problems in petroleum industry while diagnosing the asphaltene stability conditions in crude oil system is still a challenge and has been subject of many investigations.To monitor and diagnose asphaltene stability,high performance intelligent approaches based bio-inspired science like artificial neural network which have been optimized by various optimization techniques have been carried out.The main purpose of the implemented optimization algorithms is to decide high accurate interconnected weights of proposed neural network model.The proposed intelligent approaches are examined by using extensive experimental data reported in open literature.Moreover,to highlight robustness and precision of the addressed approaches,two different regression models have been developed and results obtained from the aforementioned intelligent models and regression approaches are compared with the corresponding refractive index data measured in laboratory.Based on the results,hybrid of genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization have high performance and average relative absolute deviation between the model outputs and the relevant experimental data was found to be less than 0.2%.Routs from this work indicate that implication of HGAPSO-ANN in monitoring refractive index can lead to more reliable estimation of addressed issue which can lead to design of more reliable phase behavior simulation and further plans of oil production.展开更多
