The activity of the catalyst was a...A new method for preparing supported metal oxide catalyst has been studied by cool plasma technique and TiO 2/ γ Al 2O 3 catalyst has been prepared with ECR microwave plasma device. The activity of the catalyst was appraised by dehydrogenative coupling of methane on pulsed discharge plasma catalysis device. The experimental results showed that the performance of the catalyst obviously is better than that of the same catalyst prepared by conventional method. In addition, the effect of plasma parameters on the catalytic performance was also studied, and the results indicated that it is a method for catalyst preparation with brilliant prospects.展开更多

The phase composition and morphology of the catalysts are characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM. La1_xCexMnO3/y-AI203/cordierite catalyst has also been prepared by immersion process using cordierite honeycomb ceramic as carrier and Y-AI203 as support agents. The effect of Ce-doping on the structure of perovskite and catalytic property of methane combustion is explored. The results show that with the increase of Ce substitution, the crystal structure of perovskite changes from the tetragonal system to the orthorhombic system and when the x is equal to 0.2, the catalytic property in methane combustion is the best.展开更多

Carbon nanotubes with large inner diameters are successfully synthesized from methane on Ni/Cu/Al catalyst by adding sodium carbonate. The effects of the copper content and amounts of sodium carbonate on the morphology and microstructures of carbon nanotubes were investigated by CO adsorption and TEM technique. The experimental results showed that copper can influence both the catalytic activity and catalyst life. Best result was obtained when the copper content was 15%. Addition of sodium carbonate favors the formation of carbon nanotubes with large inner diameters. The growth mechanism of carbon nanotubes with large inner diameter is discussed.展开更多

The influence of preparation techniques of the catalysts on their catalytic activities is studied in this paper. The influencing factors include the impregnating method, the calcination temperature, the promoter content and the acidity of the zeolite support. Optimum preparation techniques for the catalysts are obtained through this work.展开更多
