It shows that the charged complex compound CdI 2- 4 could be easily extracted into the ethanol phase. Common ions such as Fe 3+ , Co 2+ , Ni 2+ , Mn 2+ , Zn 2+ , Al 3+ and Cr 3+ would not be extracted into the ethanol phase and Cd 2+ could be separated completely from them by mixture of 3.0 g (NH 4) 2SO 4 and 0.2 g KI in 10.0 mL 30%(volume fraction) ethanol solution at pH=1~5.展开更多
A new highly sensitive color reaction of selenium(Ⅳ) with potassium iodide and malachite green and arabic gum has been studied.The optimum conditions and the main characters of the system have been determined.The app...A new highly sensitive color reaction of selenium(Ⅳ) with potassium iodide and malachite green and arabic gum has been studied.The optimum conditions and the main characters of the system have been determined.The apparent molar absorptivity of the complex is 2.5×10 5L·mol -1 ·cm -1 at 660nm.Beers law is applicable over a range of 0 25μg/25ml for Se(Ⅳ).The method has been amployed for the determination of selenium(Ⅳ) in Chinese herbal medicines,Lingzhi and Huangqi,the results being satisfactory.展开更多
