Two grading types of asphalt mixtures, AC-16I and AC-13I, are chosen, whose optimum asphalt-aggregate ratio and optimum dosage of basalt fiber are determined by the Marshall test. The standard specimens are made firstly, and then the low temperature bending tests of asphalt mixture and basalt fiber-reinforced asphalt mixture under the coupling effect of the chloride erosion and freezing-thawing cycle have been carried out. Finally, the fatigue property tests of asphalt mixture and basalt fiber-reinforced asphalt mixture under complex environment are performed on MTS material testing system. The results indicate that the tensile strength, the maximum curving tensile stress, the curving stiffness modulus, and fatigue properties of asphalt mixture are influenced by the coupling effect of the chloride erosion and freezing-thawing cycle. The low-temperature bending performance and fatigue property of asphalt mixtures under complicated environment can be greatly improved by adding moderate basalt fiber. The dense gradation asphalt mixture possesses stronger ability to resist adverse environmental effects under the same condition.展开更多

Its multiple disciplinary nature appears as a hot research spot. Among those resources, offshore wind has been experiencing a rapid growth with strong industrial and governmental support. Among the research topics related to offshore wind turbine, those related to efficiency and safety issue receive most attentions, and they cover hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, structural dynamics, elasticity and so on. Hydrodynamics is considered as the key of these research for offshore wind turbine. This is not only because it is the fundamental of ocean engineering, but also it is similar to low speed aerodynamics which is the key of wind turbine rotor. In order to provide a comprehensive understanding of the important problems of offshore wind turbine hydrodynamics, we briefly review the evolution of offshore wind turbine and discuss the hydrodynamics problem associated with the research and development activities.展开更多

On the hydrolysis active sites, CS2 is hydrolyzed to HES, while on the oxidation active sites, HES is oxidized to elemental S or sulfuric acid deposited on the porous support. The above process can be expressed as follows: CS2 H2O→ COS H2O→ H2S O2→ S/SO4^2-. H2S oxidation eliminates its prohibition on C52 hydrolysis so that the rate of coupling removal CS2 is 5 times higher than that of CS2 hydrolysis. The same active energy of hydrolysis and coupling reaction also indicates that HES oxidation does not change the reaction mechanism of CS2 hydrolysis. Temperature has obvious effect on the process while the mole ratio of O2 concentration to CS2 concentration (O/S) does not, especially in excess of 2.5. The formation of sulfuric acid on the catalyst surface poisons hydrolysis active sites and causes the decrease of left OH^-1 concentration on the catalysts surface. Lower temperature is suggested for this bi-functional catalyst owing to the low yield ratio of S/SO4^2-.展开更多
