Machine learning models are constructed to predict fragment production cross sections in projectile fragmentation(PF)reactions using Bayesian neural network(BNN)techniques.The massive learning for BNN models is based ...Machine learning models are constructed to predict fragment production cross sections in projectile fragmentation(PF)reactions using Bayesian neural network(BNN)techniques.The massive learning for BNN models is based on 6393 fragments from 53 measured projectile fragmentation reactions.A direct BNN model and physical guiding BNN via FRACS parametrization(BNN+FRACS)model have been constructed to predict the fragment cross section in projectile fragmentation reactions.It is verified that the BNN and BNN+FRACS models can reproduce a wide range of fragment productions in PF reactions with incident energies from 40 MeV/u to 1 GeV/u,reaction systems with projectile nuclei from^40 Ar to^208 Pb,and various target nuclei.The high precision of the BNN and BNN+FRACS models makes them applicable for the low production rate of extremely rare isotopes in future PF reactions with large projectile nucleus asymmetry in the new generation of radioactive nuclear beam factories.展开更多

This paper introduced and reformulated the exact backprojection-filtration (BPF)-type reconstruction algorithm for fan-beam scans based on Zou and Pan's work. Subsequently, a legible and implementary BPF algorithm for region-of-interest (ROI) reconstruction is presented using projection data truncated not only in angle-scanning but also in the transverse direction. The algorithm can be widely used for fan-beam full-scans, short-scans, or super-short-scans The algorithm uses less projection data than the preceding super-short-scan. The algorithm is implemented using the Shepp-Logan phantom and some primary results are presented. Some new discoveries and implications of ROI reconstruction from truncated data are discussed, which suggests that the BPF algorithm can be used in the ROI reconstruction from truncated projections.展开更多

Considering the beam gene...Neutral beam injector for EAST is designed to deliver deuterium beams with a power of 2 MW to 4 MW at an energy of 50 keV to 80 keV into the plasma with a beam dimension of 12 cm× 48 cm. Considering the beam generation and transmission, a columniform beam-line of Ф 250 cm × 400 cm is designed with a neutralizer, ion dump, calorimeter, bending magnet and cryopanels. The arrangement of the internal elements for the beam-line is reported. A rectangular sleeve coupled to the ion source is employed as the neutralizer. At the downstream of the neutralizer, a dipole magnet separates the residual ions from the beam passage with a reflection radius of 42 cm for the full energy particles. The calorimeter and the ion dump serve as high heat flux components, which will work as thermal inertia targets in the first phase of operation.展开更多

This feature could be used to increase the detection performance of conv...The low frequency line components of the radiated noise from an underwater target usually have both high spectrum level and sustained stability. This feature could be used to increase the detection performance of conventional broadband energy integration method. The required spectrum level is theoretically discussed when the detection performance of the known line detection is better than that of broadband energy integration method. Under the condition of the target can be detected in line spectrum band, the relationship between the line spectrum level and signal to noise ratio (SNR) is also discussed. This paper proposes a line spectrum target detection method that a matrix using DC jump to fluctuations ratios of sub-band spatial spectrum and beam space output is constructed. This matrix acts as a filter that the line spectrum target with certain frequency and azimuth is passed at most. By fusing with the other sub band results, the conventional detection performance can be improved. At the same time, the applicable condition and detection performance are analyzed in the paper. The simulation and the sea trial data processing results show that the algorithm can effectively extract weak goal line spectrum target under the condition of multi-interference. The algorithm doesn't need multi-frame statistics and the detection performance is closer to the optimal line spectrum method.展开更多
