The study examined interpretation recordings during the second round of the 2016 ACIC, focusing on how student interpreters coped with figures. Observation results show that omission is the most common error for all students and for the four types of figures involved in the research. Most errors are made in the translation of big round numbers. Fast speed of the source speech as well as figure clusters turn out to be the most outstanding causes for errors. Such observation results are expected to provide implications for future interpreting teaching.展开更多
