Solar-powered aircraft have attracted great attention owing to their potential for longendurance flight and wide application prospects.Due to the particularity of energy system,flight strategy optimization is a significant way to enhance the flight performance for solar-powered aircraft.In this study,a flight strategy optimization model for high-altitude long-endurance solar-powered aircraft was proposed.This model consists of three-dimensional kinematic model,aerodynamic model,energy collection model,energy store model and energy loss model.To solve the nonlinear optimal control problem with process constraints and terminal constraints,Gauss pseudo-spectral method was employed to discretize the state equations and constraint equations.Then a typical mission flying from given initial point to given final point within a time interval was considered.Results indicate that proper changes of the attitude angle contribute to increasing the energy gained by photovoltaic cells.Utilization of gravitational potential energy can partly take the role of battery pack.Integrating these two measures,the optimized flight strategy can improve the final state of charge compared with current constant-altitude constant-velocity strategy.The optimized strategy brings more profits on condition of lower sunlight intensity and shorter daytime. 展开更多

The halide-activated pack cementation method is utilized to deposit aluminide coat- ings on TiAl alloys. Emphasis is placed on the effect of alloying elements on the aluminizing behavior of TiAl alloy. The addition of a small amount of Nb or Cr in the TiAl improves significantly the aluminizing kinetics of TiAl alloys by increasing the solid-state division of Al through the formation of stable TiAl3 layer. The TiAl3 layer formed on the TiAl alloyed with Nb or Cr has better toughness than the TiAl3 formed on the non-alloyed TiAl. The reason for better toughness of the coating formed on TiAl is that partial TiAl3 with tetragonal structure was changed to high symmetry cubic L12 structure since Nb or Cr was dissolved into TiAl3. The TiAl3 layer formed on the TiAl alloyed with Nb or Cr has much better oxidation resistance than the TiAl3 layer formed on the non-alloyed TiAl. It is attributed to change in the crystal structure of TiAl3 from the brittle tetragonal DO22 to the ductile cubic L12 by addition of small amount of Nb or Cr. 展开更多

Cooperative search-attack is an important application of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)swarm in military field.The coupling between path planning and task allocation,the heterogeneity of UAVs,and the dynamic nature of task environment greatly increase the complexity and difficulty of the UAV swarm cooperative search-attack mission planning problem.Inspired by the collaborative hunting behavior of wolf pack,a distributed selforganizing method for UAV swarm search-attack mission planning is proposed.First,to solve the multi-target search problem in unknown environments,a wolf scouting behavior-inspired cooperative search algorithm for UAV swarm is designed.Second,a distributed self-organizing task allocation algorithm for UAV swarm cooperative attacking of targets is proposed by analyzing the flexible labor division behavior of wolves.By abstracting the UAV as a simple artificial wolf agent,the flexible motion planning and group task coordinating for UAV swarm can be realized by self-organizing.The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by a set of simulation experiments,the stability and scalability are evaluated,and the integrated solution for the coupled path planning and task allocation problems for the UAV swarm cooperative search-attack task can be well performed. 展开更多

The pack cementation was employed to produce rare earth modified chromium coatings on P110 steel aiming at improving its performance and increasing the usage lifetime during operation. The orthogonal array design (OAD) was applied to set experiments. Contents of NH4Cl, types of RE, contents of RE, test temperature and soaking time were the main factors, and each factor was endowed with four levels. While the range analysis and analysis of variance were used to investigate the results of OAD tests on thickness and wear resistance. The results indicated that for a promising coating with higher thickness value and excellent anti-wear property, the test temperature was the most significant process factor. The potential promising conditions for chromizing treatment were: adding 1% NH4Cl and 1% LaCl3, maintaining the test temperature at 1000 oC for 8 h. The results of verification showed that the coating formed under the optimal process parameter had a valid thickness of 28 μm and a reduction of 0.32 mg in wear resistance test. 展开更多

Continuous coatings were formed on 304 stainless steel surface by this method. A series of electrochemical experiments were carried out to investigate the corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel, Ti coating and CeO2-Cr/Ti coatings. The sample surface was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The phases of sample surface were detected by X-ray diffraction (XRD). It was concluded from all the outcomes that the Corrosion resistance of the samples could be sorted in the following sequence: CeO2-Cr/Ti coatings〉Ti coating〉304 stainless steel. 展开更多

Traveling salesman problem(TSP) is one of the typical NP-hard problems, and it has been used in many engineering applications. However, the previous swarm intelligence(SI) based algorithms for TSP cannot coordinate with the exploration and exploitation abilities and are easily trapped into local optimum. In order to deal with this situation, a new hybrid optimization algorithm based on wolf pack search and local search(WPS-LS)is proposed for TSP. The new method firstly simulates the predatory process of wolf pack from the broad field to a specific place so that it allows for a search through all possible solution spaces and prevents wolf individuals from getting trapped into local optimum. Then, local search operation is used in the algorithm to improve the speed of solving and the accuracy of solution. The test of benchmarks selected from TSPLIB shows that the results obtained by this algorithm are better and closer to the theoretical optimal values with better robustness than those obtained by other methods. 展开更多

水平井分段压裂是目前低渗油气藏增产的主要措施之一,压裂封隔器是分段压裂时层与层之间封隔的关键工具,其封隔性能直接影响压裂施工工艺的施工质量和成功率。由于受到深井地层高温、高压等恶劣环境的影响,封隔器胶筒坐封后与套管间的... 水平井分段压裂是目前低渗油气藏增产的主要措施之一,压裂封隔器是分段压裂时层与层之间封隔的关键工具,其封隔性能直接影响压裂施工工艺的施工质量和成功率。由于受到深井地层高温、高压等恶劣环境的影响,封隔器胶筒坐封后与套管间的接触应力、Mises应力直接影响其封隔能力和使用寿命。本文通过改变封隔器胶筒表面圆弧半径R、圆弧顶距胶筒表面距离δ、波纹间隙ΔH等参数来研究胶筒与套管间接触应力情况,结果表明:与常规封隔器胶筒相比,改进的封隔器胶筒与套管的最大接触应力提高了1.64倍~3.97倍;圆弧半径为1.25mm,波纹间隙为0.5mm的改进胶筒Mises应力降低了约11%。这不仅保证了封隔器密封可靠性,而且降低了胶筒被撕裂的风险。表面轮廓为波纹状的封隔器胶筒可广泛运用于水平井分段压裂工艺中。 展开更多

In this study, we carried out model tests to investigate the ice failure process and the resistance experienced by a transport vessel navigating in the Arctic region in pack ice conditions. We tested different navigation velocities, ice plate sizes, and ice concentrations. During the tests, we closely observed several phenomena, including the modes of interaction of the ice ship and the moving and failure modes of ice. We also measured the vessel resistances under different conditions. The test results indicate that the navigation velocity is a significant determinant of the moving and failure modes of ice. Moreover, vessel resistance is remarkably dependent on the ice concentration and navigation velocity. The variances of the mean and maximum resistance are also compared and discussed in detail. 展开更多

Battery packs are applied in various areas(e.g.,electric vehicles,energy storage,space,mining,etc.),which requires the state of health(SOH)to be accurately estimated.Inconsistency,also known as cell variation,is considered a significant evaluation index that greatly affects the degradation of battery pack.This paper proposes a novel joint inconsistency and SOH estimation method under cycling,which fills the gap of joint estimation based on the fast-charging process for electric vehicles.First,fifteen features are extracted from current change points during the partial charging process.Then,a joint estimation system is designed,where fusion weights are obtained by the analytic hierarchy process and multi-scale sample entropy to evaluate inconsistency.A wrapper is used to select the optimal feature subset,and Gaussian process regression is implemented to estimate the SOH.Finally,the estimation performance is assessed by the test data.The results show that the inconsistency evaluation can reflect the aging conditions,and the inconsistency does affect the aging process.The wrapper selection method improves the accuracy of SOH estimation by about 75.8%compared to the traditional filter method when only 10%of data is used for model training.The maximum absolute error and root mean square error are 2.58%and 0.93%,respectively. 展开更多
