The purpose of this article was to extract and determine total saponins in Patrinia Heterophylla(scabra)Bye,to study three different extraction methods—ultrasonic,reflux and Sorbite,with oleanolic acid used for quant...The purpose of this article was to extract and determine total saponins in Patrinia Heterophylla(scabra)Bye,to study three different extraction methods—ultrasonic,reflux and Sorbite,with oleanolic acid used for quantitive determination,and to analyze the content of total saponins in Patrinia Heterophylla(scabra)Bye from five different origins and different parts.The result showed that ultrasonic method was ideal to extracting total saponins.The calibration curve was linear with the range of 50-110ug(r=0.9990)for total saponins by photometry.The average recovery was 97.7%(RSD=1.8%).It was the range of 1.33% to 2.54% for total saponins in five kinds of Patricia Heterophylla(scabra)Bye collected from different places.And it was also different for total saponins in different parts of each of this plant.展开更多
