研究豆科刺桐属植物龙牙花Erythrina corallodendron茎中的刺桐生物碱成分。利用硅胶柱色谱、反相硅胶柱色谱、Sephadex LH-20凝胶柱色谱以及制备HPLC等色谱技术对龙牙花茎95%乙醇提取物进行分离纯化,通过MS、NMR等波谱学方法进行结构... 研究豆科刺桐属植物龙牙花Erythrina corallodendron茎中的刺桐生物碱成分。利用硅胶柱色谱、反相硅胶柱色谱、Sephadex LH-20凝胶柱色谱以及制备HPLC等色谱技术对龙牙花茎95%乙醇提取物进行分离纯化,通过MS、NMR等波谱学方法进行结构鉴定。从龙牙花茎的95%乙醇提取物中分离并鉴定了18个刺桐类生物碱,分别为crstanine A(1)、erytharbine(2)、cristamine C(3)、(+)-erystramindine(4)、10,11-dioxoerythraline(5)、8-oxoerythraline(6)、8-oxo-11β-methoxyerythradine(7)、11-methoxyerythradine(8)、11-epi-methoxyerythraline(9)、(+)-erythraline(10)、crystamidine(11)、8-oxoerythrinine(12)、(+)-11α-hydroxyerysotrine(13)、erythrinine(14)、erysodine(15)、erysotrine-N-oxide(16)、(+)-erythratidine(17)、erythratine(18)。其中化合物14、7、9、11、13、16、17为首次从该植物中分离得到。采用MTT法对生物碱单体化合物118进行了细胞毒活性的筛选,结果显示所有化合物均无明显细胞毒活性;利用醋酸扭体实验对化合物1、6、8进行镇痛活性研究,结果显示化合物1、6、8在20 mg·kg-1给药剂量下(腹腔注射),对小鼠醋酸所致的扭体反应的抑制率分别为69%、70%、62%(P<0.01),具有较好的镇痛活性。 展开更多

Aqueous Extract of Erythrina senegalensis Exhibits Dose-Dependent Hepatoprotective Activity on Paracetamol-Induced Liver Damage in Wistar Rats

Erythrina senegalensis is utilized in the treatment of liver diseases in folklore medicine in most of northern Nigeria, but sufficient pharmacological-based and peer-reviewed scientific literature is not available to authenticate its use in the treatment of liver ailments. This research is aimed at assessing the hepatoprotective effects of Erythrina senegalensis against paracetamol-induced (PCM-induced) hepatotoxicity in wistar albino rats. This was evaluated by estimating the activities of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) as compared with the control group. The extract was concentrated and then desired concentrations of extracts were made by dissolving in normal saline. Four different doses of aqueous extracts Erythrina senegalensis (200, 300, 400 and 500 mg/kg) were administered orally for 6 consecutive days after the 72 hrs administration of paracetamol (1500 mg/kg) per body weight. Paracetamol significantly induced oxidative stress in the liver, ultimately leading to increased serum levels of liver enzyme markers like alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase. Administration of the extracts showed significant (p 0.05) and dose-dependent hepatoprotective activity resulting in decrease in the activity of ALT, AST and ALP. These data revealed that Erythrina senegalensis aqueous extracts possess significant hepatoprotective activity against PCM-induced toxicity attributable to its constituent phytochemicals. The mechanism of hepatoprotection seems to be through the modulation of antioxidant enzyme systems. 展开更多

Objective:To study the behavioral effects of semi purified fraction prepared from the stem bark of Erythrina velutina on mice.Methods:Three chloroformic fractions(CA) at 50 or 100 mg/kg(CA1,CA2 and CA3) were tested in two behavioral tests;plus maze and open field.Results:In the plus maze test,it was observed a decrease in the number of entries in the closed arms(NECA) CA2 at both doses as compared to the control group.In the open field test,CA2 and CA3 fractions decreased the number of squares crossed and the time of permanence on the bar,increased the number of falls at both doses in the rota rod test.The CA2 fraction decreased the NECA,but this data did not characterize an anxiolytic effect.It was the consequence from decrease of locomotor activity(LA) observed in the open field test,that the decrease of LA and rearing,the number of falls and the decrease in time of permanence on the bar in rota rod test were observed after treatment with CA2 and CA3 at both doses,suggesting sedative effect.Conclusion:The present work demonstrated that CA2 and CA3 fractions have impairing effect on LA and motor coordination. 展开更多

Background:Erythrina suberosa(E.suberosa)Roxb.also known as corky coral tree is used as a folklore medicine to treat ulcers and piles.This study explored the phytochemical profiles of methanol and dichloromethane(DCM)extracts from the aerial,root,and flower parts of E.suberosa.Method:Total bioactive contents,high-performance liquid chromatography array(HPLC-PDA)polyphenolic quantification,and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(UHPLC-MS)analysis were used to evaluate the phytochemical profile.Biological potential was evaluated by determining their antioxidant(DPPH,ABTS,FRAP,CUPRAC,Phosphomolybdenum,and metal chelating)and enzyme inhibitory(cholinesterase,amylase,glucosidase,and tyrosinase)effects.Results:The phenolic(46.26 mg GAE/g extract)and flavonoid(32.46 mg QE/g extract)contents were found to be highest in the methanolic extract of roots(EsR-M).HPLC-PDA analysis determined the presence of numerous bioactive compounds,including catechin,syringic acid,p-hydroxy benzoic acid,gallic acid,vanillic acid,epicatechin,rutin,chlorogenic acid,carvacrol,sinapinic acid,and naringenin in considerable amounts.A total of 143 phytochemicals,belonging to phenolic,flavonoid,coumarin,terpenoid,chalcone,saponin,and glycoside classes,were tentatively identified by UHPLC-MS analysis.Aerial methanolic extract(EsA-M)exhibited highest radical scavenging(DPPH 86.81 mgTE/g extract,ABTS 245.17 mgTE/g extract)as well as reducing potential(FRAP 177.12 mgTE/g extract,CUPRAC 177.12 mgTE/g extract).Likewise,it was also noted to be most active for BChE(5.70 mg GALAE/g extract)and tyrosinase inhibition(148.35 mg KAE/g extract).While,roots-DCM extract(EsR-D)presented considerable inhibition for AChE(4.69 mg GALAE/g extract)and amylase(0.81 mmol ACAE/g extract)enzymes.Coreopsin,davallioside A,and isovitexin were docked to tyrosinase to depict possible interaction.Conclusion:This study has established baseline data on the biological and phytochemical profile of E.suberosa which was found to possess antioxidant and enzym 展开更多

刺桐姬小蜂QuadrastichuserythrinaeKim是新近发现的重要检疫性有害生物,在新加坡、毛里求斯、留尼汪、中国台湾、美国夏威夷和中国大陆深圳对刺桐属植物造成严重危害。本文结合田间观察和室内实验对刺桐姬小蜂生物学特性进行了较为系... 刺桐姬小蜂QuadrastichuserythrinaeKim是新近发现的重要检疫性有害生物,在新加坡、毛里求斯、留尼汪、中国台湾、美国夏威夷和中国大陆深圳对刺桐属植物造成严重危害。本文结合田间观察和室内实验对刺桐姬小蜂生物学特性进行了较为系统的研究。结果表明:刺桐姬小蜂成虫活动与温度、光照密切相关。补充营养能显著延长雌成虫寿命,但对雄成虫寿命无影响。成虫性比随环境温度变化而变化。该虫的平均怀卵量为275·8粒,30℃时成虫的产卵量和产卵率最高,分别为203·63粒和73·83%。发育起点温度和世代有效积温分别为13·37℃和458·27日·度。温度与发育历期呈显著的负相关(r**=-0·9161)。 展开更多
