To some extent, having necessity and universality is the immanent character of knowledge. The form of man’s thinking, which reflects the fundamental structure of its activity, determines this. However, the immanent character needs further publicity and communicability among subjects as the intermediate moments in order to realize itself. Publicity or communicability is not the external characters of knowledge, but belongs to the nature of knowledge. Knowledge is no more than man’s reflection of its activity; its inter-subjectivity is determined by the inter-subjectivity of man’s activity.
