In this paper, a finite difference extended Kalman filter(FDEKF)with Hybrid Pulse Power Characterization(HPPC) parameters identification is proposed to estimate the SOC. The finite difference(FD) algorithm is benefit to compute the partial derivative of nonlinear function, which can reduce the linearization error generated by the extended Kalman filter(EKF). The FDEKF algorithm can reduce the computational load of controller in engineering practice without solving the Jacobian matrix. It is simple of dynamic model of lithium-ion battery to adopt a secondorder resistor-capacitor(2 RC) network, the parameters of which are identified by the HPPC. Two conditions, both constant current discharge(CCD) and urban dynamometer driving schedule(UDDS), are utilized to validate the FDEKF algorithm.Comparing convergence rate and accuracy between the FDEKF and the EKF algorithm, it can be seen that the former is a better candidate to estimate the SOC.展开更多

The Coulomb potential included in the new ionic potential contains multipole corrections, converges quickly and is variationally, changeable. The new potential and the ECM are applied to variationally studying the potential energies of eight electronic states of several diatomic molecular ions: the A2π state of CO+, the X2∑ g + state of Li 2 + , the X2∑ g + state of He 2 + , the 12∏u state of Na 2 + , the A2∏u state of N 2 + , the X1∑+ state of KrH+, the X2∑+ state of SiO+ and the A2π state of SO+ ion. However, little attention has been paid to the accuracy of various open circuit voltage(OCV) models for correcting the SoC with aid of the ampere-hour counting method. This paper presents a comprehensive comparison study on eighteen OCV models which cover the majority of models used in literature. The low-current OCV tests are conducted on the typical commercial LiFePO/graphite(LFP) and LiNiMnCoO/graphite(NMC) cells to obtain the experimental OCV-SoC curves at different ambient temperature and aging stages. With selected OCV and SoC points from experimental OCV-SoC curves, the parameters of each OCV model are determined by curve fitting toolbox of MATLAB 2013. Then the fitting OCV-SoC curves based on diversified OCV models are also obtained. The indicator of root-mean-square error(RMSE) between the experimental data and fitted data is selected to evaluate the adaptabilities of these OCV models for their main features, advantages, and limitations. The sensitivities of OCV models to ambient temperatures, aging stages, numbers of data points, and SoC regions are studied for both NMC and LFP cells. Furthermore, the influences of these models on SoC estimation are discussed. Through a comprehensive comparison and analysis on OCV models, some recommendations in selecting OCV models for both NMC and LFP cells are given.展开更多

文摘In this review article,we first briefty introduce the transport theory and quantum molecular dynamics model applied in the study of the heavy ion collisions from low to intermediate energies. The developments of improved quantum molecular dynamics model(ImQMD)and ultra-relativistic quantum molecular dynamics model(UrQMD),are reviewed. The reaction mechanism and phenomena related to the fusion, multinucleon transrer, fragmentation, collective flow and particle production are reviewed and discussed within the framework of the two models. The constraints on the isospin asymmetric muclear equation of state and in-medium nucleon nucleon cross sections by comparing the heavy ion collision data with transport models calculations in last decades are also discussed, and the uncertainties of these constraints are analyzed as well. Finally,we discuss the future direction of the development of the transport models for improving the understanding of the reaction mechanism, the descriptions of various observables, the constraint on the nuclear equation of state,as well as for the constraint on in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross sections.
文摘Lithium-ion batteries(LiB)are widely used in electric vehicles(EVs)and battery energy storage systems, and accurate state estimation relying on the relationship between battery Open-Circuit-Voltage(OCV)and State-of-Charge(SOC)is the basis for their safe and efficient applications. To avoid the time-consuming lab test needed for obtaining OCV-SOC curves, this study proposes a data-driven universal method by using operation data collected onboard about the variation of OCV with ampere-hour(Ah).To guarantee high reliability,a series of constraints have been implemented. To verify the effectiveness of this method, the constructed OCV-SOC curves are used to estimate battery SOC and State-of-Health(SOH),which are compared with data from both lab tests and EV manufacturers. Results show that a higher accuracy can be achieved in the estimation of both SOC and SOH,for which the maximum deviations are less than 3.0%and 2.9%respectively.

文摘Precise states estimation for the lithium-ion battery is one of the fundamental tasks in the battery management system(BMS),where building an accurate battery model is the first step in model-based estimation algorithms. To date, although the comparative studies on different battery models have been performed intensively, little attention is paid to the comparison among different online parameters identification methods regarding model accuracy, robustness ability, adaptability to the different battery operating conditions and computation cost.In this paper, based on the Thevenin model, the three most widely used online parameters identification methods, including extended Kalman filter(EKF),particle swarm optimization(PSO),and recursive least square(RLS),are evaluated comprehensively under static and dynamic tests. It is worth noting that, although the built model’s terminal voltage may well follow a measured curve, these identified model parameters may significantly out of reasonable range, which means that the error between measured and predicted terminal voltage cannot be seen as a gist to determine which model is the most accurate. To evaluate model accuracy more rigorously, battery state-of-charge(SOC)is further estimated based on identified model parameters under static and dynamic tests. The SOC prediction results show that EKF and RLS algorithms are more suitable to be used for online model parameters identification under static and dynamic tests, respectively. Moreover, the random offset is added into originally measured data to verify the robustness ability of different methods, whose results indicate EKF and RLS have more satisfactory ability against imprecisely sampled data under static and dynamic tests, respectively.Considering model accuracy, robustness ability, adaptability to the different battery operating conditions and computation cost simultaneously,EKF is recommended to be adopted to establish battery model in real application among these three most widely used methods.

文摘Hanbury-Brown-Twiss(HBT) correlations for charged pions in central Au+Au collisions at √SNN=2.4-7.7 GeV(corresponding to beam kinetic energies in the fixed target frame from Elab=1.23 to 30 GeV/nucleon) are calculated using the ultra-relativistic quantum molecular dynamics model with different equations of state(EoSs).The effects of a phase transition at high baryon densities are clearly observed in the explored HBT parameters. The results show that the available data on the HBT radii,RO/RSand R^(2)_(O)-R^(2)_(S),in the investigated energy region favor a relatively stiff EoS at low beam energies, which then turns into a soft EoS at high collision energies consistent with astrophysical constraints on the high-density EoS of quantum chromodynamics(QCD).The specific effects of two different phase transition scenarios on RO/RSand R^(2)_(O)-R^(2)_(S)are investigated.A phase transition with a significant softening of the EoS below four times the nuclear saturation density can be excluded using HBT data. Our results highlight that the pion’s RO/RSand R^(2)_(O)-R^(2)_(S)are sensitive to the stiffness of the EoS and can be used to constrain and understand the QCD EoS in a high baryon density region.
