The gene, SLC7All, which encodes the solute carrier family 7 member 11 (anionic amino acid transporter light chain, xCT), has been reported to be implicated in multiple processes such as in pheomelanin production, cell proliferation and migration, Kaposi's sarcoma herpesvirus (KSHV) entry into the host cells, learning and memory. Its involvement in cancer cell proliferation and metastasis has been widely studied. Its role in pheomelanogenesis is likely conserved in sheep. The full-length cDNA of sheep SLC7A11 was cloned from sheep skin fibroblasts for evaluating its role in regulating sheep coat color. The complete open reading frame of sheep xCT (sxCT) is 1512 bp in length, encoding a 503 amino acid polypeptide. We explored its function on pheomelanogenesis in vitro and in vivo. In the melan-a non-agouti mouse melanocytes that mainly produce eumelanin, overexpressed sxCT reduced the content of eumelanin. Using a testicular injection transgenic method, sxCT-transgenic sheep were generated and exhibited patches of brown/yellow coat, suggesting that sxCT can be selectively expressed to increase the pheomelanin production in wool. Our studies suggest that testicular injection of transgene can be used to genetically modify sheep coat color. 展开更多

Mulberry fruits with high concentrations of anthocyanins are favored by consumers because of their good taste,bright color,and high nutritional value.However,neither the regulatory mechanism controlling flavonoid biosynthesis in mulberry nor the molecular basis of different mulberry fruit colors is fully understood.Here,we report that a flavonoid homeostasis network comprising activation and feedback regulation mechanisms determines mulberry fruit color.In vitro and in vivo assays showed that MYBA-bHLH3-TTG1 regulates the biosynthesis of anthocyanins,while TT2L1 and TT2L2 work with bHLH3 or GL3 and form a MYB-bHLH-WD40(MBW)complex with TTG1 to regulate proanthocyanidin(PA)synthesis.Functional and expression analyses showed that bHLH3 is a key regulator of the regulatory network controlling mulberry fruit coloration and that MYB4 is activated by MBW complexes and participates in negative feedback control of the regulatory network to balance the accumulation of anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins.Our research demonstrates that the interaction between bHLH3 and MYB4 in the homeostasis regulatory network ensures that the fruits accumulate desirable flavonoids and that this network is stable in pigmentrich mulberry fruits.However,the abnormal expression of bHLH3 disrupts the balance of the network and redirects flavonoid metabolic flux in pale-colored fruits,resulting in differences in the levels and proportions of anthocyanins,flavones,and flavonols among differently colored mulberry fruits(red,yellow,and white).The results of our study reveal the molecular basis of the diversity of mulberry fruit colors. 展开更多

The seasonal signal and long-term trend in the height time series of 10 IGS sites in China are investigated in this paper. The offset detection and outlier removal as well as the removal of common mode error are performed on the raw GPS time-series data developed by the Scripps Orbit and Permanent Array Center(SOPAC). The seasonal-trend decomposition procedure based on LOESS(STL) is utilized to extract precise seasonal signals, followed by an estimation of the long-term trend with the application of maximum likelihood estimation(MLE) to the seasonally adjusted time series. The Up-compo- nents of all sites are featured by obvious seasonal variations, with significant phase and amplitude modulation on some sites. After Kendall's tau test, a significant trend(99% confidence interval) for all sites is achieved. Furthermore, the trends at sites TCMS and TNML have significant changes at epochs 2009.5384 and 2009.1493(95% confidence interval), respectively, using the Breaks For Additive Seasonal and Trend test. Finally, the velocities and their uncertainties for all sites are estimated using MLE with the white noise plus flicker noise model. And the results are analyzed and compared with those announced by SOPAC. The results obtained in this paper have a higher precision than the SOPAC results. 展开更多

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of wheat variety, food processing, and milling method on antioxidant properties. Black wheat variety Heibaoshi 1 had the highest total phenolic content(659.8 μg gallic acid equivalents g-1), total flavonoid content(319.3 μg rutin equivalents g-1), and antioxidant activity, whereas light purple wheat variety Shandongzimai 1 had the lowest total flavonoid content(236.2 μg rutin equivalents g-1) and antioxidant activity. Whole wheat flour and partially debranned grain flour had significantly higher total phenolic contents, total flavonoid contents, and antioxidant activity than refined flour(P < 0.05). Compared with flour, total phenolic contents, total flavonoid contents and antioxidant activity decreased in noodles and steamed bread, whereas noodles had slightly higher total phenolic and flavonoid content than steamed bread. Antioxidant activities(by ferric reducing ability of plasma assay) of steamed bread made from whole wheat flour, partially debranned grain flour, and refined flour were 23.5%, 21.1%, and 31.6% lower, respectively, than the corresponding values of flour. These results suggested that black whole wheat flour and partially debranned grain flour are beneficial to human health. 展开更多

过程挖掘技术将观察到的行为(即事件日志)与建模的行为(如bpmn模型或petri网)联系起来.可以通过对日志进行挖掘,获得实际业务流程模型,再对其中关联严格结构检测,通过并行优化的方法优化实际业务流程模型.目前的业务流程优化主要是针对... 过程挖掘技术将观察到的行为(即事件日志)与建模的行为(如bpmn模型或petri网)联系起来.可以通过对日志进行挖掘,获得实际业务流程模型,再对其中关联严格结构检测,通过并行优化的方法优化实际业务流程模型.目前的业务流程优化主要是针对管理者或开发者给出的业务流程模型,其与实际运行中的业务流程可能与之有些许偏差,从而影响了优化结果.在此提出一种新方法对业务流程进行优化.首先使用Prom框架中的Alpha Miner及Heuristic miner获得流程模型的PetriNet及C-net结构;然后使用最大分解的方法修复流程模型;针对修复后的模型提出其中高频简单网部分,并发现关联严格结构,使用Colored Petri nets对关联严格结构重新构造为关联并行结构,确定优化结果.该方法通过实际业务流程的研究案例及比较实验进行评估,其结果表明关联并行优化可明显缩短实际业务流程耗时. 展开更多

Recently automotive nets are adopted to solve increasing problems in automotive electronic systems.Technologies of automotive local area network from CAN and LIN can solve the problems of the increasing of wire bunch weight and lack in module installation space.However,the multilayer automotive nets software becomes more and more complex,and the development expense is difficult to predict and to keep in check.In this paper,the modeling method of hierarchical automotive nets and the substitution operation based on object-oriented colored Petri net(OOCPN) are proposed.The OOCPN model which analyzes the software structure and validates the collision mechanism of CAN/LIN bus can speed the automobile system development.First,the subsystems are divided and modeled by object-oriented Petri net(OOPN).According to the sets of message sharing relations,the message ports among them are set and the communication gate transitions are defined.Second,the OOPN model is substituted step by step until the inner objects in the automotive body control modules(BCM) are indivisible and colored by colored Petri net(CPN).And the color subsets mark the node messages for the collision mechanism.Third,the OOCPN model of the automotive body CAN/LIN nets is assembled,which keeps the message sets and the system can be expanded.The proposed model is used to analyze features of information sharing among the objects,and it is also used to describe each subsystem real-time behavior of processing messages and implemental device controllers operating,and puts forward a reasonable software framework for the automotive body control subsystem.The research can help to design the communication model in the automotive body system effectively and provide a convenient and rapid way for developing the logical hierarchy software. 展开更多

Utilizing least square kurtosis of output signals as a cost function, the new gradient-based algorithm to update frequency of the adaptive IIR notch filter and the new variable step-size algorithm are given. The computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better ability in suppressing colored Gaussian noises and better accuracy in estimating parameters at low SNR than previous algorithms. 展开更多

Endowing flexible and adaptable fiber devices with light-emitting capabilities has the potential to revolutionize the current design philosophy of intelligent,wearable interactive devices.However,significant challenges remain in developing fiber devices when it comes to achieving uniform and customizable light effects while utilizing lightweight hardware.Here,we introduce a mass-produced,wearable,and interactive photochromic fiber that provides uniform multicolored light control.We designed independent waveguides inside the fiber to maintain total internal reflection of light as it traverses the fiber.The impact of excessive light leakage on the overall illuminance can be reduced by utilizing the saturable absorption effect of fluorescent materials to ensure light emission uniformity along the transmission direction.In addition,we coupled various fluorescent composite materials inside the fiber to achieve artificially controllable spectral radiation of multiple color systems in a single fiber.We prepared fibers on mass-produced kilometer-long using the thermal drawing method.The fibers can be directly integrated into daily wearable devices or clothing in various patterns and combined with other signal input components to control and display patterns as needed.This work provides a new perspective and inspiration to the existing field of fiber display interaction,paving the way for future human–machine integration. 展开更多

Wild strawberry Fragaria vesca is emerging as an important model system for the cultivated strawberry due to its diploid genome and availability of extensive transcriptome data and a range of molecular genetic tools.Being able to better utilize these tools,especially the transcriptome data,will greatly facilitate research progress in strawberry and other Rosaceae fruit crops.The electronic fluorescent pictograph(eFP)software is a useful and popular tool to display transcriptome data visually,and is widely used in other model organisms including Arabidopsis and mouse.Here we applied eFP to display wild strawberry RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)data from 42 different tissues and stages,including various flower and fruit developmental stages.In addition,we generated eight additional RNA-seq data sets to represent tissues from ripening-stage receptacle fruit from yellow-colored and red-colored wild strawberry varieties.Differential gene expression analysis between these eight data sets provides additional information for understanding fruit-quality traits.Together,this work greatly facilitates the utility of the extensive transcriptome data for investigating strawberry flower and fruit development as well as fruit-quality traits. 展开更多

By computer simulation the oscillation and stochastic resonance induced by colored noise are observed. Colored rice is a type of high-quality,high-added-value rice that has attracted increasing attention in recent years.The use of large amounts of inorganic nitrogen fertilizer in rice fields results in low fertilizer use efficiency and high environmental pollution.Organic fertilizer is a promising way to improve soil quality and sustain high yields.However,most studies focus on the effect of animal-based organic fertilizers.The effects of different ratios of plantbased organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer on the grain yield and quality of colored rice have rarely been reported.Therefore,a two-year field experiment was conducted in 2020 and 2021 to study the effects of replacing inorganic N fertilizers with plant-based organic fertilizers on the yield,nitrogen use efficiency(NUE),and anthocyanin content of two colored rice varieties in a tropical region in China.The experimental treatments included no nitrogen fertilization(T1),100% inorganic nitrogen fertilizer(T2),30%inorganic nitrogen fertilizer substitution with plant-based organic fertilizer(T3),60%inorganic nitrogen fertilizer substitution with plant-based organic fertilizer(T4),and 100% plantbased organic fertilizer(T5).The total nitrogen provided to all the treatments except T1 was the same at 120 kg ha-1.Our results showed that the T3 treatment enhanced the grain yield and anthocyanin content of colored rice by increasing nitrogen use efficiency compared with T2.On average,grain yields were increased by 9 and 8%,while the anthocyanin content increased by 16 and 10% in the two colored rice varieties under T3 across the two years,respectively,as compared with T2.Further study of the residual effect of partial substitution of inorganic fertilizers showed that the substitution of inorganic fertilizer with plant-based organic fertilizer improved the soil physiochemical properties,and thus increased the rice grain yield,in the subsequent seasons.The highest grain yield of the subsequent rice crop was observed under the T5 treatment.Our results suggested t 展开更多
