The prepared recycled polyols, composeduniquely of renewable and recycled components, had a hydroxyl number of ca. 250 mg KOH·g−1. They weresuccessfully applied as 100% replacement of a virgin polyol for preparation of solid crosslinked polyurethanes(PU) by solvent-free casting. The produced rigid cast PU exhibited the main transition temperature rangingfrom 44°C to 53°C, the hardness value from 46 to 61 Shore D and the beneficial low water absorption (0.4-0.5wt.%). The PU network structure was highly influenced by the presence of aromatic structures ofpolycarbonate-units and fatty acid compositions. A suitable selection of natural oil thus enabled to adjustthermo-mechanical properties and promote excellent optical transparency of the produced PU.展开更多

The polyol molecular weights em-ployed was 2000g/mol. The polyurethane elastomers were characterized by an elec-tronmechanical universal testing machine, an Akron abrasion loss tester, a LX-A Shore du-rometer, a rebound resilience equipment and a Dynamic- Mechanical analyzer. In addition, fractured surface of the polyurethane elas-tomers was investigated by a field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The test results showed the PCL based elastomer ex-hibits the excellent tear and stress-strain properties that polyester based elastomers offer, while retaining superior compression set and resilience similar to polyether based elas-tomers. The static and dynamic properties of the PCL based elastomer were more suitable for dynamic applications. The SEM micro-graphs of all polyurethane samples indicated the existing of the microphase separation structure. Particles of the dispersed phase formed by the hard phase and crystalline part of the soft phase grows bigger with the in-creasing crystallinity of the soft segments. The hard domains are irregular shapes and with the sizes of a few micrometers.展开更多

Based on load bearing wheel dimensions, material properties and operating conditions, the structure of wheel flange is optimized by zero order finite element method. A detailed three dimensional finite element model of flange of load bearing wheel is developed and utilized to optimize structure of wheel flange. Its service life, which is affected by flange structure parameter, is analyzed by comparing the optimization results with those of prototype of wheel. The results of optimization are presented and the stress field of load bearing wheel in optimal dimension obtained by using finite element analysis method is demonstrated. The finite element analysis and optimization results show that the CPUE load bearing wheel is feasible and suitable for the tracked vehicle and has a guiding value in practice of the weighting design of the whole tracked vehicle.展开更多
