One important injury mechanism is cell cycle activation which causes neuronal apoptosis and glial activation. The neuroprotective effects of both non-selective (Flavopiridol) and selective (Roscovitine and CR-8) cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors have been shown across mukiple experimental traumatic brain injury models and species. Cyclin-depen- dent kinaseinhibitors, administered as a single systemic dose up to 24 hours after traumatic brain injury, provide strong neuroprotection-reducing neuronal cell death, neuroinflammation and neurological dysfunction. Given their effectiveness and long therapeutic window, cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors appear to be promising candidates for clinical traumatic brain injury trials.展开更多

All t...The activation behaviors and hydrogen storage properties of the Laves phase Ti1-xZrx(Mn0.5Cr0.5)2 (x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.32, 0.5) alloys were investigated by the pressure-composition-temperature (P-C-T) measurements. All the studied alloys show the single C14-type Laves phase structure based on the XRD data. Except for the alloys with very low Zr content of x=0 and x=0.1, all these alloys can be fully activated. The P-C isotherms of the activated alloys show that, the introduction of Zr induces the decrease of the equilibrium pressures and the steeper plateaus. As the x increases, the maximum hydrogen absorption also increases, whereas the desorption of hydrogen decreases. These two effects result in a maximum reversible hydrogen storage capacity of H/M=3.03 for the alloy at x=0.32. Furthermore, the well-defined plateau associated with the smallest hysteresis also appears at x=0.32.展开更多
The effect of yttrium on the thermal stability and crystallization behavior of Nd-Fe-Al-Ni amorphous alloys was investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and transmission...The effect of yttrium on the thermal stability and crystallization behavior of Nd-Fe-Al-Ni amorphous alloys was investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).The results indicated that the as-cast Nd60Fe20Al10Ni10-xYx(X=-0, 2) amorphous alloys were fabricated with some quenched-in crystals, which could be restrained by Y. With the effect of yttrium, both the crystallization temperature and exothermic peak shifted to higher temperatures, illustrating that the thermal stability could be improved. The addition of Y changed the crystallization process and final crystallization results. Moreover, the crystallites in the amorphous matrix became more homogeneous and smaller. Meanwhile, Y was useful for the passivation of oxygen in chemistry and restrained the negative effect of oxygen. The activation energies of the start of crystallization and peaking were 1.21 and 1.16 eV, respectively, according to the Kissinger equation.展开更多

The aging behavior of SiCp/2024AI composite at four temperatures was investigated and compared to 2024 alloy. It was found that the addition of high volume fraction SiC particles does not alter the aging sequence, but it significantly accelerates the kinetics of precipitation in the composite matrices. Therefore, the aging peak of the composite appears earlier than that of 2024AI alloy. This is attributed to the decrease in the activation energy for the precipitate formation and the increase in the precipitate growth rate due to the high density dislocations in the composite with high volume fraction particles. The high density dislocations, as preferential nucleation sites for precipitates, bring about the tiny and dense precipitates in the composite.展开更多

However, little is known about the difference in neural activity between a proposer's decision-making in the ultimatum game compared with the dictator game. The present functional magnetic resonance imaging study revealed that proposing fair offers in the dictator game elicited greater activation in the right supramarginal gyrus, right medial frontal gyrus and left anterior cingulate cortex compared with proposing fair offers in the ultimatum game in 23 Chinese undergraduate and graduate students from Beijing Normal University in China. However, greater activation was found in the right superior temporal gyrus and left cingulate gyrus for the reverse contrast. "The results indicate that proposing fair offers in the dictator game is more strongly associated with cognitive control and conflicting information processing compared with proposing fair offers in the ultimatum game.展开更多

文摘对经过正火和回火处理的P92钢在573~623 K的温度区间和5×10-5~1×10-3-1的应变速率范围内进行了拉伸试验,研究了温度和应变速率对铁素体/马氏体钢P92锯齿流变的影响。结果表明:在应变速率为5×10-5~1×10-3s-1及温度为573~623 K这两个区间内进行拉伸试验,P92钢产生锯齿流变时的临界应变均表现出正常和反常的行为。经计算,正常锯齿流变激活能为134 k J/mol。结合透射电镜观察结果,表明铬原子等置换原子可能是产生锯齿流变的原因,而反常行为则可能是由于位错对析出相产生切割作用引起。
