The main old lands in China include the North China Block(NCB),South China Block(SCB)and Tarim Block(TRB),all of which have individual tectonic evolving histories.The NCB experienced complex geological evolution since the early Precambrian onwards,and carries important records from the old continental nuclei,giant crustal growth episode and cratonization(stabilitization),then to the Paleoproterozoic rifting-subduction-accretion-collision with imprints of the Great Oxygen Event(GOE),and to the Late Paleoproterozoic-Neoproterozoic multi-stage rifting representing North China platform tectonic features.The TRB has two-layer basement of the Early Precambrian metamorphic complexes and Neoproterozoic sedimentary sequences.Three till sheets have been reported.The SCB consists of the Yangtze Block(YZB)and Cathaysia Block(CTB)that were cohered in the Neoproterozoic.The YZB recorded tectonic processes of the Early Precambrian crustal growth,1.0–0.9 Ga and 0.8–0.6 Ga metamorphic-magmatic events,and two Neoproterozoic glaciations.The CTB consists of ca.1.8Ga,1.0 to 0.9 Ga and ca.0.8 Ga granitic gneisses and metamorphic rocks,indicating there was a vast Precambrian basement.The Neoproterozoic sedimentary rocks overlie partly on the basement.That the YZB and CTB have a Neoproterozoic uniform cover layer illustrates the SCB should form,at least,during 1.0–0.9 Ga,corresponding to the Rodinia Supercontinent.The Central Chinese Orogenic System with high-ultra-high-pressure metamorphic rocks supports a suggestion that the abovementioned three old lands were collided to assemble a unified Chinese Continent during the Pangea orogenic period. 展开更多

This paper proposes a method for planning the three-dimensional path for low-flying unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) in complex terrain based on interfered fluid dynamical system(IFDS) and the theory of obstacle avoidance by the flowing stream. With no requirement of solutions to fluid equations under complex boundary conditions, the proposed method is suitable for situations with complex terrain and different shapes of obstacles. Firstly, by transforming the mountains, radar and anti-aircraft fire in complex terrain into cylindrical, conical, spherical, parallelepiped obstacles and their combinations, the 3D low-flying path planning problem is turned into solving streamlines for obstacle avoidance by fluid flow. Secondly, on the basis of a unified mathematical expression of typical obstacle shapes including sphere, cylinder, cone and parallelepiped, the modulation matrix for interfered fluid dynamical system is constructed and 3D streamlines around a single obstacle are obtained. Solutions to streamlines with multiple obstacles are then derived using weighted average of the velocity field. Thirdly, extra control force method and virtual obstacle method are proposed to deal with the stagnation point and the case of obstacles' overlapping respectively. Finally, taking path length and flight height as sub-goals, genetic algorithm(GA) is used to obtain optimal 3D path under the maneuverability constraints of the UAV. Simulation results show that the environmental modeling is simple and the path is smooth and suitable for UAV. Theoretical proof is also presented to show that the proposed method has no effect on the characteristics of fluid avoiding obstacles. 展开更多

How to solve the hypersonic aerothermodynamics around large-scale uncontrolled spacecraft during falling disintegrated process from outer space to earth,is the key to resolve the problems of the uncontrolled Tiangong-No.1 spacecraft reentry crash.To study aerodynamics of spacecraft reentry covering various flow regimes,a Gas-Kinetic Unified Algorithm(GKUA)has been presented by computable modeling of the collision integral of the Boltzmann equation over tens of years.On this basis,the rotational and vibrational energy modes are considered as the independent variables of the gas molecular velocity distribution function,a kind of Boltzmann model equation involving in internal energy excitation is presented by decomposing the collision term of the Boltzmann equation into elastic and inelastic collision terms.Then,the gas-kinetic numerical scheme is constructed to capture the time evolution of the discretized velocity distribution functions by developing the discrete velocity ordinate method and numerical quadrature technique.The unified algorithm of the Boltzmann model equation involving thermodynamics non-equilibrium effect is presented for the whole range of flow regimes.The gas-kinetic massive parallel computing strategy is developed to solve the hypersonic aerothermodynamics with the processor cores 500~45,000 at least 80%parallel efficiency.To validate the accuracy of the GKUA,the hypersonic flows are simulated including the reentry Tiangong-1 spacecraft shape with the wide range of Knudsen numbers of 220~0.00005 by the comparison of the related results from the DSMC and N-S coupled methods,and the low-density tunnel experiment etc.For uncontrolling spacecraft falling problem,the finite-element algorithm for dynamic thermalforce coupling response is presented,and the unified simulation of the thermal structural response and the hypersonic flow field is tested on the Tiangong-1 shape under reentry aerodynamic environment.Then,the forecasting analysis platform of end-of-life largescale spacecraft flying track i 展开更多

The discovery and large-scale exploration of unconventional oil/gas resources since 1980s have been considered as the most important advancement in the history of petroleum geology;that has not only changed the balance of supply and demand in the global energy market,but also improved our understanding of the formation mechanisms and distribution characteristics of oil/gas reservoirs.However,what is the difference of conventional and unconventional resources and why they always related to each other in petroliferous basins is not clear.As the differences and correlations between unconventional and conventional resources are complex challenging issues and very critical for resources assessment and hydrocarbon exploration,this paper focused on studying the relationship of formations and distributions among different oil/gas reservoirs.Drilling results of 12,237 exploratory wells in 6 representative petroliferous basins of China and distribution characteristics for 52,926 oil/gas accumulations over the world were applied to clarify the formation conditions and genetic relations of different oil/gas reservoirs in a petroliferous basin,and then to establish a unified model to address the differences and correlations of conventional and unconventional reservoirs.In this model,conventional reservoirs formed in free hydrocarbon dynamic field with high porosity and permeability located above the boundary of hydrocarbon buoyancy-driven accumulation depth limit.Unconventional tight reservoirs formed in confined hydrocarbon dynamic field with low porosity and permeability located between hydrocarbon buoyancy-driven accumulation depth limit and hydrocarbon accumulation depth limit.Shale oil/gas reservoirs formed in the bound hydrocarbon dynamic field with low porosity and ultra-low permeability within the source rock layers.More than 75%of proved reserves around the world are discovered in the free hydrocarbon dynamic field,which is estimated to contain only 10%of originally generated hydrocarbons.Most of undiscovered resourc 展开更多

A new interval arithmetic method is proposed to solve interval functions with correlated intervals through which the overestimation problem existing in interval analysis could be significantly alleviated. The correlation between interval parameters is defined by the multidimensional parallelepiped model which is convenient to describe the correlative and independent interval variables in a unified framework. The original interval variables with correlation are transformed into the standard space without correlation,and then the relationship between the original variables and the standard interval variables is obtained. The expressions of four basic interval arithmetic operations, namely addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, are given in the standard space. Finally, several numerical examples and a two-step bar are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

WUM unifies and simplifies existing cosmological models and results into a single coherent picture, and proceeds to discuss the origin, evolution, structure, ultimate fate, and primary parameters of the World. WUM explains the experimental data accumulated in the field of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics over the last decades: the age of the world and critical energy density;the gravitational parameter and Hubble’s parameter;temperatures of the cosmic microwave background radiation and the peak of the far-infrared background radiation;gamma-ray background and cosmic neutrino background;macrostructure of the world and macroobjects structure. Additionally, the model makes predictions pertaining to masses of dark matter particles, photons, and neutrinos, proposes new types of particle interactions (Super Weak and Extremely Weak), and shows inter-connectivity of primary cosmological parameters of the world and the rise of the solar luminosity during the last 4.6 Byr. The unified power flow controller(UPFC)based on modular multilevel converter(MMC) is the most creative flexible ac transmission system(FACTS) device. In theory, the output voltage of the series MMC in MMCUPFC can be regulated from 0 to the rated value. However,there would be relatively large harmonics in the output voltage if the voltage modulation ratio is small. In order to analyze the influence of MMC-UPFC on the harmonics of the power grid, the theoretical calculation method and spectra of the output voltage harmonics of MMC are presented. Subsequently, the calculation formulas of the harmonics in the power grid with UPFC are proposed. Based on it, the influence of UPFC on the grid voltage harmonics is evaluated, when MMC-UPFC is operated with different submodular numbers and voltage modular ratios. Eventually, the proposed analysis method is validated using digital simulation. The study results would provide guideline for the design and operation of MMC-UPFC project. 展开更多

Based on the relationships between the Hvorslev envelope,the current yield sur-face and the reference yield surface,a new constitutive model for overconsolidated clays is proposed. It adopts the unified hardening parameter,to which the potential failure stress ratio and the characteristic state stress ratio are introduced. The model can describe many characteristics of overconsolidated clays,including stress-strain relationships,strain hardening and softening,stress dilatancy,and stress path dependency. Compared with the Cam-clay model,the model only re-quires one additional soil parameter which is the slope of the Hvorslev envelope. Comparisons with data from triaxial drained compression tests for Fujinomori clay show that the proposed model can rationally describe overconsolidated properties. In addition,the model is also used to predict the stress-strain relationship in the isotropic consolidation condition and the stress paths in the undrained triaxial compression tests. 展开更多

The cast preformed forming process(CPFP) is increasingly considered and applied in the metal forming industries due to its short process, low cost, and environmental friendliness, especially in the aerospace field. However, how to establish a unified model of a non-uniform as-cast billet depicting the flow stress and microstructure evolution behaviors during hot working is the key to microstructure prediction and parameter optimization of the CPFP. In this work, hot compression tests are performed using a non-uniform as-cast 42 CrMo billet at 1123–1423 K and 0.01–1sà1. The effect laws of the non-uniform state of the as-cast billet with different initial grain sizes on the flow stress and microstructure are revealed deeply. Based on experimental results, a unified model of flow stress and grain size evolutions is developed by the internal variable modeling method. Verified results show that the model can well describe the responses of the flow stress and microstructure to deformation conditions and initial grain sizes. To further evaluate its reliability, the unified model is applied to FE simulation of the cast preformed ring rolling process.The predictions of the rolling force and grain size indicate that it could well describe the flow stress and microstructure evolutions during the process. 展开更多

This paper investigates the convergence proof of the Direct Simulation Monte Carlo(DSMC) method and the Gas-Kinetic Unified Algorithm in simulating the Boltzmann equation.It can be shown that the particle velocity distribution function obtained by the DSMC method converges to a modified form of the Boltzmann equation,which is the equation of the gas-kinetic unified algorithm to directly solve the molecular velocity distribution function.Their convergence is derived through mathematical treatment.The collision frequency is presented using various molecular models and the local equilibrium distribution function is obtained by Enskog expansion using the converged equation of the DSMC method.These two expressions agree with those used in the unified algorithm.Numerical validation of the converging consistency between these two approaches is illustrated by simulating the pressure driven Poiseuille flow in the slip transition flow regime and the two-dimensional and three-dimensional flows around a circular cylinder and spherical-cone reentry body covering the whole flow regimes from low speed micro-channel flow to high speed non-equilibrium aerothermodynamics. 展开更多
