For the subsonic case, the varified Bernoulli law leads a modified cut-off system. Because of the local average estimate, conservative forces do not need any decay condition. Afterwards, the subsonic-sonic limit solutions are constructed by taking the extract subsonic solutions as the approximate sequences.展开更多

Based on the theory of compressible the relations between the sonic speedand shock wave in high-velocity aerated flow were theoretically deduced. And comparisons withmeasured data were made. The theoretical and experimental results show the sonic speed in aeratedflow is merely of the order of several-dozen meters per second, and its minimum value is only 20m/s, which is far much less than that in water or air alone. So high subsonic flow, supersonic flowand transonic flow as well as compression wave, shock wave and expansion wave similarly toaerodnamics may be produced in high velocity aerated flow at the speed of the order of 50m/s. Hencethe influences of these compressible characteristics on high head discharge structures can not beneglected, especially on super high dams over 200m high.展开更多

An approximate expression for the variation of the stream-pipe cross-section with the temperature is obtained. Some basic properties of the thermofluid flow are dealt with, such as the phenomenon that the streamlines will "reject when heated and attract when cooled" or "attract when heated and reject when cooled" under different heat transfer conditions and the deviation of the sonic point from the point of the smallest cross-section area of the stream-pipe.展开更多
