The coordination modes of the bonding in these complexes w ere discussed and the possible structure were proposed. Every central Ln(III) io n in the complexes coordinates with both two Schiff base ligands via four oxygen atoms of the phenol hydroxy groups and methoxy groups and two nitrates via thei r four oxygen atoms. Their coordination numbers are eight. In addition, the anti bacterial activity of the Schiff base ligand and the complexes were studied.展开更多
