The absorbed benzene hydrocarbon was removed by thermal desorption and directly injected into gas chromatograph and determined by FID detector. It was optimal for the rapid and precise determination of trace benzene hydrocarbon in seawater. In this Paper the investigation of benzene hydrocarbon in the coastal water of Jiaozhou Bay (Qingdao) is reported as well.
