The results showed that the overall mental health status of rural primary and secondary school teachers was not optimistic, and the mental health status of teachers with longer working hours was worse, and there was a significant difference between teachers with shorter working hours;there was a significant difference in the mental health literacy of primary and secondary school teachers who had received psychological training or not;the mental health literacy of rural primary and secondary school teachers showed a significant negative correlation with the scores of the symptom self-assessment scale. There was a significantly moderate predictive effect of mental health literacy on mental health status. The conclusion suggests that teachers should be given appropriate workload reduction, improve the efficiency of psychological training, and thus improve their mental health literacy and individual mental health.
