Wittgenstein made a thorough critique of aesthetics from the perspective of linguistic philosophy. He clarified misunderstandings of beauty and then treated a series of philosophical issues, demarcating the problems raised by metaphysical aesthetics in the past, and returned to life to investigate language itself with the satisfaction of positive expectations and abandoned the exploration of the essence of beauty, thereby breaking the deadlock of ambiguity and dilemma in aesthetics. It has a milestone turning significance in the history of aesthetics.
