《杜骗新书》和《金瓶梅》都暴露出晚明商人的奸诈丑恶、宦官的卑劣可耻、女性的纵欲贪财和僧尼道徒的“离佛叛道”;两书都集中体现了暴露小说思想内容上的主要特征。
Both A New Book on Fraudulence and Jin Ping Mei have exposed the fraudulence and repulsion of businessmen, the meanness and ignominy of eunuchs, the lechery and avarice of females as well as 'the betrayal of Buddhism'by monks and nuns. These two books have both exhibited the main features of ideological contents in exposure novels.
