Several kinds of novel extraction solvents were presented which mainly included N - formylmorpholine,dimethyl formamide, etc. They could be used in extraction of butyldiene, separation of aromatic compounds and removing sulfide in FCC diesel. Their synthesis , applications and market were reviewed in detail.
